World of Warcraft comes with 4 cd’s. That’s a lot and I do not understand why they haven’t released it on a DVD as standard. First time I installed it, it took awhile.,I installed it on my Acer Ferrari 3200 notebook. My expectations were a little high, as my work colleague Rikke, had talked about it with such passion that I couldn’t resist buying it. Actually I was determined not to buy any kind of game that would have a monthly fee associated to it....

Front of the CD cover Disc One Disc Two This game has been one of my favourite games for a looong time. I have spent countless hours playing it, and I keep on starting over on all the campaigns again. Mostly because I want to make a complete list of savegames for people to download here. You can check back once a while to check my progress 😉 The Heroes games are a product of New World Computing and was distributed via 3DO. 3DO are now gone. Their website isn’t...

This game has also been a favorite of mine. It was released in March 31, 1999, and quickly became a de facto standard in amusement park design-games 😀 Well, at least it was my de facto standard, haha. Chris Sawyer is the mastermind behind the game, and he really has thought of a lot of things in this game. Your start of with a park. You have an objective to fx have a park rating of at least 600 with a company value of at least 10000 dollars by october, year 3. Now...

StarCraft The phenomenon known as StarCraft has been one of my favorite games ever. It’s an real time strategy game, based on 3 alien races. Terrans, Zerg and Protoss. Terran are a bunch of humanoid settlers from the Koprulu sector who formed the Confederacy deep in space. Zerg are aliens of an even more biological nature. Protoss are a more robotic form of entity. These three races do battle against one another on different maps.. be it space stations or lushious...

Vampires is an Internet-based game. Very very simple graphic-wise, but logic-wise it’s somewhat more complex. But the main thing… it’s fun! You are most likely bitten by another vampire which is the invitation to the game. You can also create your own unique vampire, but then you’ll have no blood-line. Boring 🙂 You move around in a city and eat other vampires blood, or suck life, blood and coins out of humans. You cannot “suck” coins out...

Dungeon Keeper was released in the 1990’es by Bullfrog and was a welcome break to the many “normal” games released. It offered you to be a Keeper of your own personal Dungeon. You are evil, and all you do is train monsters build up a dungeon for your monsters, pay them gold, and get them to slap and rid all goodness from the world. Dungeon Keeper (1) The first game was in 2D. The graphics was somewhat okay, and you lived through it despite some of the...
